FXTM is known for its commitment to client education and so was delighted to bring the popular E-Trading & Investment Summit to excited traders in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Our Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu – who has over 10 years of personal trading experience – shared valuable insights into the world of forex with our eager participants.

The Summit kicked off with a seminar on 26 October at The Azny Place. With over a hundred attendees on the first day, it was an excellent start! The main objectives of the day were to:

• Learn how to get started as a forex trader
• Meet and network with fellow local traders
• Ask FX experts any pressing trading or strategy questions
• Explore FXTM’s products, services and more

The second seminar on the following day was no less successful in terms of turnout and audience participation. It was fantastic to be able to answer so many questions and to talk participants through starting their trading journeys. Both action-packed days ended with lucky raffle winners going home with brand-new Android phones!

On 29 October, another one-day seminar was held with a focus on FXTM Invest, our innovative copy trading programme. This was a chance for attendees to learn about getting started as an Investor, including how to choose a suitable Strategy Manager to follow and the steps to take to help safeguard their investment.

Still full of energy, the Summit moved on to the FXTMPartners Training Centre the following day for a three-day interactive workshop, where traders were guided through risk-management principles, technical analysis tools and much more.

Between the 24^th and 26^th of October, FXTMPartners hosted seminars in Surabaya, Bali, and Jakarta, Indonesia. The day-long events offered traders of all abilities unique trading insights, and introduced them to the ways FXTM could complement their trading preferences.

Each seminar welcomed traders who were enthusiastic and eager to learn. By the end of the day, participants had discovered techniques to help them boost their trading potential, and fine-tune their personalised trading strategy. On top of this, traders were introduced to FXTM’s range of deposit and withdrawal methods, and given the chance to ask their questions in a dynamic Q&A session.

In between informative presentations, attendees enjoyed opportunities to network with one another, and meet FXTM Account Service Managers and Business Development Managers.

On the 22^nd and 23^rd of October, FXTM participated in the Cairo Investment Expo as Gold Sponsors. This Expo is one of the highlights on a trader’s calendar, gathering industry-leading brokers from across Kuwait and the Arab world for plenty of stimulating presentations and networking opportunities.

Considering that it was the first time FXTM participated in an Expo in Egypt, the results were truly fantastic. An approximate total of 5000 attendees gathered around the FXTM booth over the course of the two days – eager to learn more about the products and services on offer.

The event was an excellent occasion for Team FXTM to meet traders from around the world, and to tell global investors about the company’s secure and trusted payment solutions, diverse range of trading accounts, client-centric services and innovative investment solutions.

The team were joined by FXTM’s Chief Market Strategist (Gulf & MENA), Hussein Sayed, who delivered an engaging market outlook presentation at the Expo. A huge number of traders gathered for Mr Sayed’s talk, keen to find out which market events may be worth looking out for in the coming months.  

Traders in Johannesburg joined acclaimed FX Educator Jacque Nel for his hugely informative Practical Route to Disciplined Trading events*, which commenced on Saturday, 20 October. The seminar and workshop were a huge success, with an enthusiastic audience and a great turnout of over 120 people combined – despite the rain!

Set in the beautiful grounds of the Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton, the attendees were guided through the exciting world of forex, learning about the currency market and the different factors that affect price movements.

The Practical Route to Disciplined Trading began with an engaging seminar on 20 October, and included:

• Detailed introductions to forex and trading the markets
• A focus on where price movements begin, and
• The Bollinger Bands strategy.

Feedback following the seminar was very positive, with many participants eagerly looking forward to the subsequent workshop and ready to learn more.

The two-day workshop took place on 23-24 October. This provided a chance for guests to consolidate their new-found knowledge and ask Mr Nel any questions that they had.

Topics covered in the workshop included:

• Understanding trading tools
• Risk Management
• Calculating lot size, and
• Bollinger Bands strategy with advanced filters & applications.

The Ultimate Trading Formula educational series has taken another successful step in its tireless mission to spread forex knowledge around the world! Between the 13^th and 18^th of October, FXTM’s Head of Education Andreas Thalassinos was in Kenya, inspiring traders in Nairobi to boost their trading potential.

First up was a hugely popular free seminar on the 13^th of October. The turnout was incredible, with traders packing into the elegant conference room at the Nairobi Safari Club to hear trading insights first-hand from a market expert.

Andreas certainly didn’t disappoint! With his trademark energetic presentation style, he kept participants entertained and informed all day long. Traders of all experience levels benefitted from practical insights into risk management and potentially effective trading strategies.

Topics covered in the seminar include:

• Mastering the secrets of the Ultimate Trading Formula
• Learning to manage risk
• Identifying high-probability entry and exit points
• Pinpointing trading opportunities
• Trading with more confidence

Next came a fascinating three-day workshop from the 16^th to the 18^th of October. Attendees were able to delve deeper into the world of technical analysis over the course of three afternoons. Many important forex concepts were demystified, such as identifying trends, Fibonacci numbers and ratios, using indicators and oscillators – and much, much more! Hands-on practice and in-depth question-and-answer sessions meant everyone left with a much stronger understanding of the art of technical analysis.

On the 6^th and 7^th of October, FXTMPartners hosted two special seminars in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, presented by one of the region’s most renowned forex experts, Oma Ally – founder of BBMA Basic & Advanced Courses. The two-day event welcomed a large crowd of forex enthusiasts, all eager to receive expert insights and information to start their forex trading journey.

The seminar took place in the beautiful Ming Garden Hotel, where guests also enjoyed the opportunity to meet and network with fellow traders and investors in their region.
