Investors in Kuching, Malaysia, were treated to two days of trading insights on the 13^th and 14^th of October, sponsored by FXTMPartners. Traders from across the Sarawak region and beyond gathered at the beautiful Waterfront Hotel, keen to hear fascinating presentations from forex experts.

The two days were a huge success! Attendees enjoyed exploring how the BBMA strategy works and discovering how they could potentially apply it to their own trading. Lively Q&A sessions meant everyone was able to consolidate their new knowledge and receive detailed answers to questions they still had. Participants were also able to find out more about FXTM’s huge choice of deposit and withdrawal methods and the innovative copy trading programme, FXTM Invest.

On the 27^th of October, over 250 forex enthusiasts gathered at the Nishat Hotel in Lahore for an evening of mesmerising live entertainment, delicious food and incredible prize giveaways.

FXTMPartners hosted this extravagant event, which was attended by several of Pakistan’s leading cultural figures including TV anchor and host Sadia Anwar, singers Malkha, InZi DX and Muskan, comedian Ghaffar Lehri, singer Muskan and dancer Meri Razsa.

The night began with an opening act from a local performer and traditional dancers. The energy didn’t drop for the rest of the night! Attendees were fascinated to hear more about FXTM’s industry-leading products and services in a company presentation and a keynote speech. Then it was time to enjoy the sumptuous feast and for our guests to mingle and network with each other over an appetising meal.

Next came more amazing performances; guests were treated to spectacular music and dance displays. A presentation from experienced traders gave the audience an in-depth look into how they could find success in trading forex. A lively question and answer session followed, so attendees had the chance to broaden their knowledge of the financial markets and trading techniques.

The night ended with just as much excitement as it began. The last item on the agenda was to find two lucky prize winners to take home the adrenaline-raising raffle prizes on offer: two top-of-the-range motorbikes (a Honda 70cc and a Honda 125cc).

Between the 2nd and 8th of November, the popular E-Trading & Investment Summit came to Lagos for two action-packed seminars and an interactive three-day workshop. The events were hosted by FXTM’s Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu, who enthusiastically helped participants broaden their trading horizons.

Taking place at the FXTM Lagos Representative Office and the Suru Express Hotel, the seminars on the 2nd and 3rd of November aimed to get traders up-to-date on the latest trading techniques. Mr Okongwu explained in easy-to-understand terminology how to get started as a trader, and how FXTM’s products and services – including FXTM Invest – could be used to potentially boost results.

The workshop, on the 6th–8th November, explored a broad range of more complex topics including:

• The opportunities of the global market
• Features of popular trading platforms
• Japanese Candlesticks
• Reading support and resistance levels
• Trading psychology

FXTM Nigeria were thrilled to receive such positive feedback, and to see such a fantastic turnout at all three events – exceeding 100 traders in our first seminar. We would like to thank all who came and were so eager to learn.

FXTM FX Educator Jacques Nel was back on the road at the start of November, keen to continue spreading his message about the importance of trading with military discipline. This latest instalment of ‘The Practical Route to Disciplined Trading’ – his hugely popular forex educational series – took place in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, the 3^rd of November.*

Local traders came together at the Protea Hotel for a day of unmissable insights into forex trading. Jacques Nel has turned the discipline and tactical techniques he developed while serving in the military into a strategic approach for the financial markets – and he’s passionate about sharing it with FXTM traders.

Some of the topics covered in the seminar included:

• A guide to how the forex market works
• Expert insights into the causes of price movements
• An introduction to trusted indicators
• An explanation of the Bollinger Bands strategy

The seminar was a huge success. Participants said they were grateful for the opportunity to learn more about how the currency market works and how to manage risks while trading.

On the 27^th of October, Jacques Nel hosted an engaging, interactive seminar in Cape Town, South Africa.* The seminar was a part of the ever-popular Practical Route to Disciplined Trading educational series – a programme which regularly tours cities in South Africa and countries further afield, such as Vietnam.

During the seminar, FX Educator Jacques Nel taught eager participants strategies and techniques to potentially boost their trading experience. Mr Nel’s unique approach to the markets is born out of his military background, during which he developed a precise and disciplined approach that he now applies to forex trading.

Over the course of just one day, participants learnt about:

• Price movements
• Trusted indicators
• The Bollinger Bands strategy
• The fundamentals of trading
• The basics of the financial markets

There were also frequent opportunities for networking with other traders, as well as refreshing coffee breaks and a delicious complimentary lunch.
