Additionally, in the event of low liquidity, spreads might significantly increase from their normal average level.

FXTM was delighted to host a luxurious gala dinner in Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday, 8 December. Over 490 forex enthusiasts gathered at the Jevenik Event Place for a fun-filled evening of live music and dancing, a delicious dinner and fantastic prize giveaways.

Highlights of the night included:

FXTM’s General Manager in Nigeria, Abiola Akinyele, also delivered a fascinating presentation on our tailored products and services, as well as our extensive educational programmes. This was followed by an awards ceremony in recognition of our outstanding clients and loyal partners.

FXTM also held two competitions, with some amazing prizes up for grabs! Our Instagram contest provided our winner with a brand-new Android phone for receiving the highest number of likes for their selfie when he used the hashtag #FXTMGala2018. The action-packed lucky draw also saw another 5 guests leave with a brand-new Android phone while three other fortunate participants won pristine 49-, 43- and 42-inch LG LED televisions respectively, with the final winner receiving a top-of-the-range LG refrigerator.

It was definitely a night to remember! FXTM was absolutely thrilled to meet so many of our loyal traders and fellow forex devotees. We would like to thank everyone that attended, and all that helped to make the evening such a success.

FXTM’s Chief Market Strategist, Hussein Sayed, hosted FXTMPartners’ lively Popular Trading Analysis Strategies seminar on 7 December in Dubai. Over 100 traders joined Mr Sayed at the regal Ritz-Carlton hotel to discover popular technical analysis strategies and benefit from an in-depth analysis of the market.

Traders enjoyed hearing from a renowned market expert. During the interactive session, Mr Sayed shared his unparalleled knowledge of popular trading strategies and techniques. Participants were given insights into the commodity and currency markets, and had the chance to ask their trading questions in a dynamic Q&A session.

FXTMPartners was delighted to join forces with DT Community for the Year End Seminar Event in Jakarta, Indonesia. This was a great opportunity for traders to look to the upcoming year and consider the potential opportunities ahead.

The event kicked off at the Fame Hotel Gading Serpong on 28 November and continued the next day at the Favehotel Puri Indah, before coming to a close on 4 December at the Ibis Hotel on Hayam Wuruk.

The seminars began with in-depth introductions from DT Community and FXTM, before moving on to the forex market and trading itself. Participants were able to find out about how to open live trading accounts with FXTM, and the wide variety of cutting-edge platforms and analytical tools on offer.

There were ample opportunities for investors to ask their questions and consolidate their new-found knowledge, and discover how they could potentially apply it to their own trading.

The turnout was excellent and it was great to see so much enthusiasm and interest from the attendees. In December, the Ultimate Trading Formula educational series returned to Durban, South Africa, in its mission to spread forex knowledge around the world.* Led by forex master and FXTM Head of Education Andreas Thalassinos, attendees were treated to a variety of insights into the financial markets and how to maximise their own trading potential.

The event kicked off on 1 December with a free seminar at the Blue Waters Hotel. The turnout was excellent, and the attendees arrived full of enthusiasm and armed with their most pressing trading questions. With his trademark energetic delivery, Andreas guided guests though risk management techniques and potential strategies to help enhance their trading results.

Traders of all experience levels benefitted from the seminar. Novices were given a detailed breakdown of the fundamental concepts of forex trading, while more experienced investors were able to consolidate their existing knowledge. There was something for everyone, as demonstrated by the extremely positive feedback received.

Next came a two-day workshop from 3 to 4 December. This was a chance for attendees to delve even deeper into the world of technical analysis.

Topics explored in the workshop include:

• Potential Entry Setup
• Protective Stop Loss
• Potential Take Profit
• Tops & Bottoms
• Fibonacci numbers and ratios  

Hands-on practice and in-depth question-and-answer sessions ensured that participants were able to exercise their new-found skills with confidence. The workshop was also a great opportunity to interact and network with other traders.
