FXTM were proud Diamond Sponsors of the Gulf Business Forum in Kuwait, on 16^th and 17^th of February 2019. The FXTM Team enjoyed meeting traders from Kuwait and beyond at this prestigious event, which aims to be the largest gathering of companies, capital markets, banks and Egyptian and Arab Investment Companies in the region.

Highlights from the Gulf Business Forum included:

• A special Market Outlook presentation from FXTM’s Chief Market Strategist (Gulf & MENA) and CNBC Arabia anchor, Hussein Sayed
• The FXTM Team’s presentation of innovative products and services to hundreds of traders and bright financial minds throughout the event
• Distinguished guests who attended, including senior ministers and statesmen from the Gulf Cooperation Council and Members of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce
• The positive feedback received from traders about FXTM’s fast withdrawals and superior investment accounts, as well as the company’s transparency and trustworthiness

Between 17 and 20 February, FXTM’s Head of Education, Andreas Thalassinos, hosted the Ultimate Trading Formula seminar and workshop in Bangkok. Not only did participants discover trading insights from a forex guru, but seminar attendees also enjoyed a special motivational speech from UN Patron of the Oceans and FXTM Brand Ambassador Lewis Pugh.

The UTF seminar and workshop followed the Traders Fair & Gala Night at Bangkok’s Shangri-La Hotel, where the FXTM Team had the pleasure of meeting and registering over 200 traders from Thailand and beyond. It was fantastic to introduce so many traders to FXTM’s first-class products and services!

The Ultimate Trading Formula series got off to a fantastic start with a one-day seminar at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn. With over one hundred and thirty eager traders present, which was nearly double the turnout expectation, Mr Thalassinos delivered an interactive presentation on the fundamentals of mastering trading – including managing risk, identifying high-probability entry and exit points and more.

Seminar attendees were also treated to an exclusive inspirational speech from Lewis Pugh – FXTM’s Brand Ambassador who successfully completed a record-breaking swim of the entire length of the English Channel. Traders discovered how Lewis stays motivated during his remarkable campaigns and endeavours, and how he remains focused and determined to reaching his ultimate goal – something all traders could use to inform their trading strategies.

FXTM are pleased to announce that our FXTM Invest Strategy Managers received an impressive profit share from Investors during 2018*, for a grand total of €434,192, which is a testament to their trading prowess. The strategy Profit Share represents a percentage of the profits that is rewarded to the Strategy Manager for his or her positive performance.

FXTM Invest is our innovative copy trading programme where suitable Strategy Managers are matched up with Investors who follow their trades to increase potential profits. FXTM’s Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu, visited Tanzania for a seminar and workshop as part of the successful E-Trading and Investment Summit. Between 9 and 14 February, traders in Arusha enjoyed receiving practical insights into forex trading and were inspired by a real forex guru.  

The E-Trading & Investment Summit was hugely popular – with 365 eager traders in attendance. On the first day of the Summit, traders received a broad, foundational knowledge of forex trading in the interactive seminar. Over the course of the session, participants discovered how to get started as a forex trader, implement technical analysis tools, and boost their potential profits with FXTM Invest.

The three-day workshop followed, where traders had the chance to delve deeper into key forex trading topics. With the help of a Swahili translator, attendees enjoyed asking their own trading questions in a dynamic Q&A session.

By the end of the workshop, participants were equipped to enter the markets, having received insights into:

• Japanese Candlesticks
• Support and resistance levels
• Trader psychology
• Risk-management strategies
• The global market
• Moving average strategies, and more!

FXTM’s Head of Education in Nigeria, Conrad Okongwu, visited Dar es Saleem, Tanzania, for a seminar and workshop as part of his hugely successful E-Trading & Investment Summit series. These events are designed for traders wishing to consolidate their existing understanding of trading and the forex market, whilst also gaining new tips and insights.

The summit began with an engaging seminar on 2 February. Eager traders gathered at the Mayfair Hotel for a day of interactive learning and networking opportunities. Over the course of the event, participants learnt:

• How to get started as a forex trader
• All about FXTM’s products and services
• The many benefits of FXTM Invest, our innovative copy trading programme.

There was a great atmosphere and a fantastic turnout of 168 excited participants. The day ended with a lucky draw, where 3 of our guests received an Apple iPad, an Android phone and a Smart phone respectively.

A three-day workshop followed from 5-7 February at the luxurious GM Elegance Hotel, where attendees were able to expand their understanding of key forex topics, including:

• Trading terminology
• Trading platforms
• Japanese Candlesticks
• Risk management
• Support and resistance levels, and much more!

The workshop ended with a dynamic practical session, which provided traders with the chance to test out their new strategies and techniques with our expert on hand to help!
