The Gift of Online Trading seminar took place in Bloemfontein, South Africa on the 16 March 2019. Hosted by experienced FX Educator, Theunis Kruger, this event welcomed traders and enthusiasts who were eager to discover the fundamentals of trading online.

The seminar was an excellent opportunity for attendees – especially those at the start of their trading journey – to build their online trading confidence. Mr Kruger introduced participants to the three foundational pillars of trading and the key components of the foreign exchange market.

The seminar was a fantastic opportunity for traders to:

• Ask an experienced FX trainer their forex questions

The evenings of 9 and 10 March marked another successful instalment of our popular educational series, the Ultimate Trading Formula, sponsored by FXTMPartners. This time it was traders in Hanoi who had the opportunity to learn from a forex guru with years of impressive experience in reading the financial markets.

With his trademark enthusiasm and humour, FXTM Head of Education Andreas Thalassinos hosted two exclusive workshops, catering to both beginner and intermediate traders. The Ultimate Trading Formula teaches attendees how to use technical analysis skills to spot potential opportunities and help improve their trading results.

• Protective stop loss

FXTM’s Market Research Analyst Lukman Otunuga, hosted the Popular Trading Analysis Strategies seminar in Cairo, Egypt. The seminar was a huge success and exceeded turnout expectations – a grand total of 370 traders attended the event, and received fresh insights from an acclaimed market expert.

The Popular Trading Analysis seminar provided traders with a strong foundational knowledge of technical analysis strategies. Lukman Otunuga’s enthusiastic style and expert market knowledge ensured that traders of all abilities discovered potentially trade-boosting insights.

The seminar was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to:

The Ultimate Trading Formula continues to spread forex knowledge around the globe! On 12 and 13 March, our popular technical analysis educational series stopped by Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for two workshops, sponsored by FXTMPartners.

Attendees were excited to discover how an understanding of technical analysis could boost their trading. Complete beginners and more experienced traders alike enjoyed FXTM Head of Education Andreas Thalassinos’ insights and were eager to practise new techniques for spotting and taking advantage of opportunities in the financial markets.

FXTM were the proud sponsors of the Velokhaya Cycling Team at the Cape Town Cycle Tour Race on the 10 March 2019. This is largest timed bicycle race in the world, with approximately 30,000 entrants registering annually. The route circles the Cape Peninsula, with the stunning Table Mountain against the backdrop.

The Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy are an inspirational organisation that introduce children from marginalized communities to cycling. Like FXTM, The Academy believes in the power of education. Its mission to encourage confidence, will-power and ambition, whilst helping the children to avoid crime, substance abuse and gangs. FXTM were delighted to support such a worthwhile cause!

The day of the race itself was windy but bright, and the enthusiasm as the race began was palpable. Cyclists from all over the world were in attendance, and it was really great to see so many people having fun and working as a team. The Velokhaya team excelled themselves, with 2 of their riders making it to the top 30 at the finish line!

FXTM would like to congratulate the Velokhaya Cycling Team for their exceptional performance and determination. We are honoured to have supported and been part of their wonderful achievement!

FXTM was delighted to return to Pretoria, South Africa, to continue its mission to educate investors on the fundamentals of trading. Our acclaimed industry expert Theunis Kruger hosted ‘The Gift of Online Trading’ in the form of an informative seminar and two-day workshop from 9 to 12 March. This event was specifically designed for new traders, and delivered a clear, structured guide on how they can start their own online trading journey.

Set in the backdrop of the elegant Sheraton Pretoria Hotel, the event began with an engaging seminar on 9 March whereby close to 90 eager traders joined FXTM for a day of interactive learning.

The enthusiastic participants discovered:

• What the foundational pillars of online trading are
• How to navigate the forex market
• Tips and insights to improve their trading skills

Guests were also invited to join FXTM for a delicious complimentary lunch, which provided numerous networking opportunities. It was great to connect with so many new traders!

A two-day workshop followed from 11-12 March at the same location, where attendees were able to hear from our experts in even more detail.
